Confused on wheels and tyres.....

Featured Replies

I discover today that my 2015 5Dr Citigo SE is near to needing a couple of tyres, so I head over to Tyre Shopper online and punch my reg number in.....

Results show 2 possible configs, one for 14" and the other for 15", so I select 14" and it says I need 175/65/14s, all good so far...….I take another look at the car, and it is fitted with 165/70/14s. The wheels are steel. A bit of a google seems to tell me that the SE wasn't fitted with steel wheels and the 165/70/14 tyre size was only used on the base S model. I'm guessing that the originating dealer has possibly pulled a fast one and swapped the alloys off it!!!! As you can guess I'm less than impressed if this is the case!!!! So, my question to you gurus out there is....Was the SE ever sold with the steel wheels and the higher profile tyres before I go get somebody by the scruff of the throat and have "a word"?

Many thanks in advance

WINGS   have a couple SE models for sale (see link). Both steels with 165/70/14
