Items & accessories to be had on a new car

Featured Replies

Finally, Skoda Live Chat confirmed car is at Emden waiting for a ship to transport to the UK.

This is my first new car so I am a newbie and have no clue what to do or what stuff to check when i go for the handover.

Whatelse would I need?

For context, I ordered a Kodiaq 150tsi DSG Edition 2wd.

I live in Glasgow so I am thinking, winter tyres?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Did you order the spare wheel? A must for me.

Other dealer-fit items to consider...

  • Front and rear mudflaps
  • Running boards / side steps
  • Carpet (summer) or rubber (winter) floor mats (neither are standard on the Edition)
  • Rear transmission tunnel rubber mat
  • Boot liner (is yours a 5 or 7 seater?)
  • Rear window blinds
  • Rear bumper protector

More discussion here from when I bought my Kodiaq...

If you have a 5 door, then you absolutely need a double sided boot mat.
