Hi Guys,

 

We bought a Skoda Ocatavia 2014 Elegance 1.4 tsi in February and the entertainment system only works maybe one in 10 times in the car.  The actual display works fine, the sound is the problem, then randomly you'll get a time where it works fine.

 

Any ideas?

Not a normal behavior.

 

 

It seems like a loose connection that sometimes makes contact and works fine as you say, but for how long does it ?. you might have to take the car to an auto electrical workshop or consider main dealer. Meanwhile I would have a look to see if any accessible wire is it. With the system on gently wiggle any you can access. If found you could maybe tape it in position. (  of course it may be something other than a wire  )
