Agreed. If they will not want to propose good solution I’ll take this to court and notify media. They like those stories ;)

Dealer rejected stating its my fault but not prooving it. Funny country I live in. Court time. Shame it will take years.

Mine arrived at the dealer at the end of October, so about the same time, but it was built with certain options that I chose (including a towbar) so wouldn't have been sitting around.

@JamesEnfield   You say the 'Dealer' rejected it.

Who that is a qualified expert has done the inspection and do you have the Written Report?   What are Skoda Poland saying?

You need your Inspection & the Independent & Qualified persons report and them prepared to give evidence in a court before taking any legal action.

Long story short dealer rejected because I claimed damage is on all parts (I took this for granted as one of most famous car detailing companies in my city checked it thoroughly and stated this)

issue is when i went to dealer for inspection they stated only some parts are damaged (windows, lights, chromes on windows) so only those parts that are not protected during transport

I agreed to limit my claim to those as dealer prooved their point but then they responded on paper that they reject because on paper i claimed everything was damaged and it couldnt be as some parts are protected in transport so definitely not their fault.

issue is ib fact only parts not protected in transport are damaged but due to that car detailer statement i assumed they know what theyre saying and claimed more parts.

anyway - i will need to repeat claim this time referring to their own findings that only unprotected parts were damaged. But its funny they did not take their own findings when deciding on claim.

The Dealers have people to check vehicles in from transport and reject and report.  If they miss it they are losing.

I used to do that job and repair damage.     Do not accept a New car with so much required repair.  There is no need to even in Poland.

Their financial loss, and as for the PDI and their valeters missing it that is ridiculous.   They deserve to lose out financially, it is the only way some people learn and supervisors and managers learn.

Fight is over and sharing update:

I accepted repair of damage (replacemebt of  3 windows 2 side and front, chromes, headlights) and additionally dealership will cover cost of ceramic coating in car detailing of my choice and added extra services beyond package I had.

overall Im satisfied lets see how repair will go

what about Paint?

Paint occured to be fine as the only elements that got hit were those uncovered during transport and it was mainly front and upper left side with damage.

also before applying ceramic coat they are polishing whole car so swirls will be gone
