Interior light not working

Featured Replies

Well it seems the Octavia is having a paddy now it's being demoted to SWMBO's car or worse still (for the Octy) sold.

The interior light no longer comes on when you unlock the car or when you open the door. However, it does come on when switched manually with either the push buttons or the slider switch. The light in the door itself does come on when the door is opened.

The interior light doesnt come on when either the front doors are open or when the car is unlocked.

Any ideas?

It`s upset...

No fault codes logged - if it was the door switch the light would still come on when the car is unlocked.

Have you paid your electric bill:confused:

Perhaps I need to nip down to the co-op and get a top up card for the meter (yes, some people in this part of the country actually have to do that  I was in shock when I saw it)
