About a month ago the driver door lock simply stopped working (not had time to look at it yet - too much snow!!!) then a week ago the dashboard suddenly re-set itself and tonight the dipped beam failed altogether - had to drive on side, fog and full beam.

Any suggestions as to problem would be appreciated - are central locking, dash & lights connected in some way or is it just coincidence??

Have a check of the battery connections or a loose main fuse above the battery as that could cause a problem, have somebody check the car with VAG COM to see if the computer has any faults logged.
