So now months later... did you find that DCC improved the ride as you hoped?  I have the same issue with many of my local roads and am keen to know if DCC made a useful difference.

Hi! Yep, it spends most of its time in comfort mode soaking up the bumps. The sport mode is very harsh and noticeable by comparison. If I was to respec the car or buy another car with this available I would definitely tick the box and go for it again. Its not a magic carpet by any means, but it is a big improvement overall!

This is very useful as i am looking at a new 245 but i also like comfort most of the time and the roads we have are awful. This will get ticked on my options list.

I just took delivery of my SE-L TSI 190 changed from a diesel VRS.

The SE-L is a much smoother but softer ride compared to the on-rails but clattering over bumps VRS. I will have to get used to the way it handles 😁

Seems have come with budget tyres fitted (Hankook?) which don't help.

But the 2.0 TSI/DSG combination is a good one and I am loving the new car.

These days Hankook tyres are OK middle of the road rather than budget.

I'm thinking of getting some of their winter ones, they do well in the winter tyre tests.
