VCDS coding for (9-Cent. Elect.) from the scratch

Featured Replies

I was trying to adjust the cornering lights in my 2009 Skoda Octavia MK2, but unfortunately I got so many features cancelled and i dunno how to revert them back. As shown in the attachments, commands were all cleared (un-checked) by itself. Now I lost the rear for, the remote control function etc. So, I would like to get some help on how to revert those codes back.

Guys, please help me as it is serious situation to me!

I'll definitely appreciate it.

You should get the original lcode from the autoscan you took before doing any changes.

Assuming you didn't take an autoscan,  then check your VCDS coding log. It should show the before and after coding for every change you've made.

I did an autoscan a day before I erased the codes, and I saved it as a txt file, attached. I wonder if you would guide me for what to do next.

Thank you!

Firstly, update your VCDS version as it's out of date.

Secondly, start VCDS and open module 09. You should be able to copy and paste the original lcode from your autoscan into the "new coding" box then hit "do it". Once it's accepted, clear any fault codes.

The lcode in your autoscan is: 46180AB8900508C000100080050010E4077000AE620089605C4440200000

I inserted the lcode and I got some options reverted back, but I still have no central locks and my two remote controls stopped working. My dashboard lights and door panel lights are lost. The radio lights are always on :/

New scan?

No!you don't need a new scan.Just go trough the initally scanned log and check all others modules (not only Central Electrics) CAN gataway,Door's controllers etc.Compare all modules present coding with previous one and change it if differ.I'm a quite sure that changes you've made weren't only to Central Electrics but to the other modules(controllers) as well.

I found out that the module installed in my car (1K0 937 084) is for baseline while my car is midline (equipped with bi-xenon and other stuff). I borrowed the highline BCM module (1K0 937 087) and it worked fine in my car and fixed all problems. So, I am currently looking for the highline bcm to purchase.

Thank you all for your concern!
