I am excited when Bob gets excited.

The Taycan might not feel heavy like nearly all EV', but  when you take yumps fast, but actually it still is and it is a wide car and really not that fantastic on great driving roads that are narrow when meeting others driving pretty spirited in another Taycan or wide vehicle.

He is so 'Green'  & so concerned about the environment. Not!

He knows full well that 2013 / 14 EV's are not being scrapped because of Battery Degradation,  not even 11 year old ones.

Many in the UK this week would have been happy to have one even if the range was only 80 miles from a charge.

The Batteries will be reused and are not needing as much energy to reuse / recycle as producing from new.  The rest of the car can be recycled just as a ICE vehicle can.

If you were trapped in a lift with him how long could you control yourself before you became a homicidal maniac?

15 minutes would be my absolute maximum

I do hate helping to finance his videos and cars by watching them and having to listen to the tripe.

Even if i could afford a Porsche Tin Can EV i would not want one.

I wish i could afford to buy Porsche Shares when VW sell off Porsche so that i had a financial interest in Porsche that charges customer lots of money so that they can run something that they think makes others envious of their success.

He will get an ulcer, maybe have a stroke and end up needing an easily accessible vehicle.

I watched that yesterday and the most interesting part for me was the lodges where they stayed!

Indeed, having overnight charging makes driving EV super easy.

I read today that there is a world wide recall of every Taycan built in 2020 because of the possibility of a leak from a front brake pipe.

PS

Autocar says every car 'since 2020'.

39 pence a kWh.  That is OK, Maybe even claim back the VAT if business use.  Not if just f-in about.)

Charging speed not great but better than many cars get. Averaged 100 kW.

Miles per kWh pathetic though.

89 kWh battery car just getting 2.4 miles a kWh or so..

Massive tax avoidance scheme for new ones which means big value drops from new value to 3 years where these cars are well under half price and of close to a third the value.

Porsche / VW Group & Porsche Dealerships must pay taxes in the UK on profits though.

So something for the economy.

Much about HMRC and Commercial / Business use vehicles is LEGALISED CRIME to suit some.

Maybe the Government / HMRC can catch out those that do Tax Avoidance other than the acceptable way, organised or disorganised criminals etc that are Leasing / Buying new or even used.

Loads of Cash Money, or just credit available and a luxury car and no visible or legitimate form of income.

.............

This TAYCAN probably has the highest Social Media follwing.

It should be call the 'Money Maker.' Certainly not 'The Widow Maker'. Or make you skinter.

It must pay the cost of running it many times over by just appearing so much.

Also the very similar Audi etron of course.

Talking to one etron owner but I think they were on salary sacrifice where a would be 1,000 a month rental turns into 530 or 570 pound a month depending on if you are on higher or highest England or Wales team rates, don't know what they are in Scotland but same or more avoidance possible I presume.

Surely some sort of ceiling would be appropriate ie one can only claim £5k a year of salary sacrifice on cars or the like ?

Maybe HMRC since they are allowing Tax Payers money to be used to have Business Users driving BEV,s for less cash money by having any with vehicles with RECALLS or Warning about how to use get those vehicles in for the RECALLS.

Or have the Manufactures that Imported or Sold vehicles in the UK with Fire risks move their lazy backsides and spend the cash and get vehicles off the road.

Provide replacements until potential fire hazards are off the roads. Actually have them stored safely until dealt with.

No point telling high mileage drivers only charge to 80% if they are going to ignore that.
