First time Skoda owner - Octavia 1.0 SE

Hi all. Looks like a huge amount of info available here. But I've got a few quick questions.

Been trying to get a PCH Octavia SE Tech as prices are a steal, but no availability for months and my current car is dying quickly. So I've got an option on a "pre-reg" 1.0 SE, was led to believe it had a few local miles on it "we'll need to check" (dealership service dept has been using it and it wasn't there when I was at dealers) and agreed price subject to inspection, I've now been told it's got just under 2K on it.  Price is still reasonable based on what else I can see for sale elsewhere. Never bought new/nearly new/demo before

• Should I be concerned?
• What should I be looking for when inspecting car?
• Any other pointers/tips?
