A colleague has an Audi A4 S-Line that's been to and fro to the supplying dealer for weeks on end with a strange noise coming from the front end.

MD got fed up with it so sent the guy to a local tyre fitter to have new boots fitted - they popped the old tyre off and found a lump of plastic slightly smaller than an egg just rolling around in the tyre :eek:

Not really sure why I thought I'd share that with you, but I guess it shows that its not always the obviosu things which cause problems.
