Hiya 

has anyone attempted to fit their own tow bar to a Skoda Octavia MK2. I have been looking at doing it myself but was wondering if anyone had tried to do this, and if they had any advice of help they could offer on the subject.

The mechanical side of removing the bumper, beam and fitting the towbar frame is easy enough. The electrics are more awkward especially dedicated electrics, which I would recommend.
