hi does anyone know what fault code 00258 is , ive been having the glow plug light flashing with engine management and dpf light , scanned the codes and only one comes up with is 00258 which says auto box solenoid or similar but my vrs is a manual ?

I may be wrong but isnt there a solenoid valve for the EGR valve for recirculation of the engine gases?

hi thanks for reply , i think there is a solenoid for egr like you say but that comes up as a different code on the list i have , i just read on another post it could be the maf thats 00258 code , the car seems to run ok so im not to sure.
