Folks, 

 

Maybe I am being stupid but I have read the entire pid manual and this red symbol in the bottom right can't be found. Has anyone ever seen it? 

Looks like the symbol for a camera.

If you press it do you get an electric shock or does a photo come up?

Something to do with screensaver mode?

Didn't do anything last time I pressed it. Held it this time and yes it made a shutter sound. Must be a camera. 

It just appeared yesterday and won't go away. No harm being there.

Had just changed the battery inside and assumed I had broken something in the process!! 

Screen shot maybe, if it has not got a camera.

So you can record some data figures.

Can you look at images in the corresponding file/folder on the PID.

OK so I found the solution to it. The unit was not turning off or on with the ignition. Tried resetting it by logging into the navigon website. Couldn't reset the unit. After hours stumbled across the simple factory reset instruction to hold the on switch for over 10 seconds. System restored. Camera disappeared and now is turning on and off with ignition. Easy fix... Nightmare to find it.
