The only places even a Ford Falcon is getting away from this wee Imp are up Mountain Straight and down Conrod.

great engine if you could get it to hold together for long,,,  my mate had use of one for a pool car,  first thing he did each time was to drive to his dad's and sling a 1/2cwt bag of sand in the front

@Skoffski - That's making me think of things like Skip Brown 998cc Imps (and Imp-based) at Ingleston and Knockhill back in the day.

Some of the beach racers at home ran Buick/Rover V8 Imps. Spectacular, and 30 years ahead of their time - before drifting became a sport.

 

John Fyda in an Imp is before my time; I remember him running a Mallock mk21 and sponsoring a Davrian (so Imp mechanicals).
