Scout Ambulance Springs

Featured Replies

Hi all, :D

Just wondering if anyone has the part numbers for the suspension springs on my 57 plate Scout RRV ?

Spoken to Eibach who made the springs initially and they don't do them anymore.

I know it would be easy to go back to standard, but I really need the extra lift as we use our Scout for shoots.

Sods law states that I have 2 broken springs ...... 1 on the front and 1 on the rear.

Thanks in advance for your help

The Scout already gets stiffer springs compared to the non-4x4 models. Are we sure those for emergency service vehicles aren't just the regular Scout springs, painted blue for effect!?

Any chance those from the MkIII will fit the MkII?

After another failed coil spring (my third) I asked at the dealership if the Scout suspension was any different to the bog standard Octavia, and if not, did Skoda do an upgrade kit? Was told the springs and so on were more robust than standard as they were off the VW Passat.

Interesting one this. I used to work at MK and remember talking to the tech guys there and they showed me a doc  showing that Eibach had developed the spring and suspension package specifically for UK blue light services.

Should have taken a little more notice of it then me thinks :-)

Thanks, I'll have a little look at Passat ones on ETKA

I'll let you know how I get on.

Also try Kilen as they do heavy duty tow springs that prevent the back end sagging.
