Hi,

 

Has anyone ever had any issues with the doors on the Citigo. Mine is a three door and over the last couple of days it has developed a creaking tapping noise coming from the drivers door.

 

It’s only heard at slow speeds over small bumps and sounds like metal on metal tapping. I’ve tried putting felt strips in the door jam but it still makes the tapping noise. 

 

When ive checked the door catch it looks like they’re not perfectly lined up like the passenger side, maybe a millimetre or two out. 

 

Any my idea what this could be, could it be the alignment ?

Have you had the car from new?

The reason I ask is that our neighbour bashed the door on our last Citigo which had to be replaced and it did the same after that.

Try tightening the screws on the door hinges.

Try a drop of oil on the door hinges.
