Yeti front ARB bush replacement

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried this?

First quick look sort of made me be wary. Access looks difficult - unless there are a few tricks out there.

I think the drop links have wear as well, I have a faint rattle from the front over slow speed road uneven surfaces. At higher speeds general noise drowns any noise.

Any help appreciated - would normally be an easy job - but as it's simply clever I need some of the clever stuff.

. Gain access to the front anti roll bar from the car, this can be done by removing the lower subframe from the vehicle or by removing the anti-roll bar from the vehicle.

2. Secure the bar firmly on a vice and slowly drill away the swaged section from the bottom of the brackets to separate the brackets from the bush and the anti-roll bar. Note: DO NOT drill into the brackets more than required.

3. Remove the rubber bushes. Clean any dirt and corrosion from the brackets and the anti-roll bar.

4. Apply some of the supplied grease to the bore and end faces of each bush and fit the new polyurethane bushes on the bar. Re-fit the brackets on the bushes

5. Re-fit the anti-roll bar to the car. Tension all hardware to manufacturers recommended torque settings
