Hi everyone,

 

Can anyone tell me how I can identify what sound system is in my car?

 

I can take pictures of necessary. I am replacing the Columbus head unit, but it was not original with the car, added by the previous owner.

 

Not sure what the original head unit was.

 

I apologize if this was discussed already, I tried searching the forum but I could not find the answer. If there's an existing thread just link it to me.

The original standard headunit would of been the belero unit, this was the standard base unit across the whole range, Columbus and Admunsun + units were options

Thanks Julian. Do you know if there was a name for the standard speaker system that came with the car ? I have two speakers in the front doors. Photos attached

No can't help with who manufactured the speakers as i've never had to take the door cards off. I know the top picture is showing the tweeter. and the aren't very good ones at that, way to tinny for my liking

Looks like the standard speaker setup, I don't think it has a name...
