I have an Octavia Laurent & Klement 2002 it has a factory fitted towbar with a detachable part.  It has 2 sockets one for the trailer lights and the other for charging these work fine.  I do not have the detachable part.  Can anyone tell me where I can buy this part.  It inserts vertically.  Regards Ken

The clue is in the question!

The towbar hitch is normally stored in the spare wheel foam with the jack and tools, have you checked there at all?.

 

If it is factory fit it is probably a Westfalia unit, so once you are certain it is theirs, that may be your next point of contact.

Hello tank you for the responses.  I have tried my local Skoda garage but they can not supply or suggest anything apart from having a whole new system fitted.  I have checked everywhere in the car but it is not in the car.  I have checked with the previous owner they never had it either.  I do not think it is the Westfalia as the profile of this is round and the attachment on my car is square/oblong.  I attach some pics that may help.  StickyMicky if you have one that would be great please let me know.  Regards Ken
