Steering Wheel needs refurb

Featured Replies

Just chopped my Yeti in for a 2016 Superb 2.0 SEL Exec.

It's awesome. So smoooooth. Just one problem, the steering wheel at ten to and ten past is really in poor condition. I'm getting silly quotes for a refurb and wondered if anyone has any ideas. The cost is so high it might be worth considering a new or good second hand one but obviously there is the issue of fitting one , airbag etc etc

Any pictures?

Some Skoda Kodiaq's have suffered the same fate and are having their steering wheels replaced under warranty...

Unfortunately it's not due to wear. I think the previous owner had excessively sweaty palms. Nice I know!

Cost. It depends on what you were quote for the repair as they are available from SuperSkoda and no doubt other places. You might need to code the new one in as well.

285 plus vat for full return. Gulp!

Had a look on superskoda but couldn't see one tbh. I'll have another look

Thnx for the help Danny57

I have a brand new one I don't need, it was on the car for two weeks and I replaced it with a VRS wheel as I did not like the smooth finish of the factory fitted wheel, PM me if your interested and we can work out a deal.
