Bought a cherished plate for my Superb. Current ones are stuck on but thinking of screwing these new ones on. Is this possible? Only Superb 3s I see around seem to have stuck on ones.

AFAIK all VAG cars actually have threaded inserts for numberplate bolts.

Mine are screwed on, also my lads Ford Fiesta are screwed on, next doors Kia are also screwed on, nothing to do with the Germans....:)

The Screw was probably invented by the Greeks....:talking::rofl:

Who invented the template to match up with the inserts instead of just a random place within the area of the numberplate though. ;)
