Error code P26F8

Featured Replies

Long time since I have been here :D

My Superb's CEL came on on Saturday morning.  Oddly, it wasn't when I first switched it on, but after a quick trip to the shops.  No bings or bongs or other alerts.  Sticking the OBDII reader on the car comes up with generic code P26F8, which looking up with Google tells me nothing.

Any ideas what the code means?

TIA!

Get it in under warranty

From a polish website (translated)

This is a failure of the auxiliary refrigerant pump. Symptoms are it that turns on and goes off again every now and then.

Cheers, xman!  It's booked in tomorrow morning for investigation, but as the dealers are 40mi away, I'm happier that it isn't anything likely to be a problem on the journey there. :)  I'll check the car again later to make sure it's not in limp mode.
