+1 - most of the average speed cameras of 50 and roads like Hog's Back 60 mph limits you can just set cruise control to 54 or 65 mph without any issue.

 

Used to go back and forth HB from Farnham to Guildford a lot in last 4 years, and seen man-powered surveillance (static and mobile vans / patrols) drop significantly with Surrey's cuts in policing. Only seen two unmarked VRSs in Surrey / Hants areas in last 2 years, but moved down to Sussex where everyone ("an' their mums") is either in hi-vis X5s or Hyundais. Much easier to spot now. 

 

Anyone found it more likely to slip under radar (not literally in speed-cams) re: driving the copper's choice of UMV? I've parked up next to a few on motorway services and got asked if I was "on the job"
