Condition condition condition.    Emission Scandal.  The Fix!!!

Condition of all 4 tyres to start with, bodywork, glass, wipers etc.  That is quick.

Then the Service History.

Done by who and where.   Full Main Dealer Service History counts as maybe not much done.  So are there invoices and receipts.

Check the MOT History,

previous MOT & this last MOT, Advisories, were there any.  If it failed on what, and how quickly was the retest / pass carried out.

So £3,295

KS08 NGN   White.

Getting MOT'd when there is a buyer.

Here is the last MOT.

Looking at tyre ware on MoT I'd want a full 4 wheel alignment to have been done.

Is it a PD engine or CR? Some PD engines suffered issues after a recall to replace injectors was botched by some steelers.

Sills have been known to rust in earlier cars.

Estate or hatch? Wiper motors are a week point in hatches and water getting into spare wheel well can be an issue.

Should have had a couple of cam belt changes by now! Even better if water pump has been done at the same time.

If you can get a VCDS scan it would help as well.

bnm engine tdi

looks nice car and will have all work done

full service and mot for 12 months

before collecting car

A BMN is a PD (not the later CR) engine.

This means, if it hasn't already been addressed, you're going to have DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) problems. The PD170 in the vRS did not get on well with it's DPF at all.

As mentioned, this car will also have been subject to the VOSA recall for the injectors, which on some cars had terrible ramifications. Check for poor cold starting, rough idle when cold, contamination of the engine oil with diesel (rising engine oil levels). There should be a sticker in the spare wheel well it it's had the recall done...
