Retrofitting Heated/Electric Mirrors on Skoda Citigo?

Featured Replies

Hi,

As per the title, has anybody ever retrofitted electric mirrors to their Citigo? The one thing I would like on my Citigo is heated mirrors (so I don't have to wipe the condensation off in the morning, first world problems, right?)

Has anybody done this before? Is all the wiring needed already in the loom or would modifications be required?

I have a Monte Carlo and this is something i want to do. I have been told that the wiring is not there to retrofit it - i am still hopeful though. Like you rain, mist and fog is a pain.

Sorry to wet your chips, but don't fancy your chances on this one.

As the Citigo is a relatively cheap and basic car in many ways, for me,too much work and time required, assuming you can cobble some parts reqd, to make it viable.Relay connection required in circuit to shut off power source after a time, other wise a flat battery results.Washing up liquid or similar .smeared on the glass will cut some of it down,

Used to be a product called Rainex to apply to glass for this purpose -only lasts for a time though.....
