Hi all, I've been looking into exhaust systems in the cheap to get a bit more mouse out of my VRS looked at a back box but realised in not gonna get any good nite unless I get rid of the center box on the exhaust. I've found a kit for the MK3 but can't find anything for the MK2. Is there such a thing and if so where could I get one. Not looking for a great deal more power or noise, just want it to sound a bit more sporty. Thanks in advance.

Not sure how much you want to spend Mike, but I wanted what you want, just a better sound from the TSI engine. So I went custom made for around £350. Stainless steel exhaust with just the sound I wanted.

I've seen what I think will be perfect, it's just a pipe that replaces the center box. I can only find one for a mk3 though. £150 if only there was one for the MK2. 

I'm looking at getting a non-resonated MillTek Cat-back for mine. That should put a bit more fruit into its salad but is going to be significantly more than the simple delete solution you're looking at.

Have you thought of taking a look around some breakers to see if you can find a crash damaged vRS that has a Milltek you could have off it?

You could easily get one made up for your car, but not sure of the cost though. 

Does the Octavia share any exhaust parts with its parent Golf or the Seat Leon / Audi A3? Are there resonator delete pipes for those that might fit?
