Car arrived missing ACC

Featured Replies

Informed today that my car which is due for delivery on the 14th February has arrived without ACC  5 seater SE 4x4 DSG 2.0 TDi in meteor grey.I have rejected the car and asked them to reorder it today .

Currently have ACC on my superb at the moment so not prepared to do without it

"arrived without ACC" :D

Otherwise known as "we didn't add it to the order"!

What has the dealer offered by way of compensation / apology / goodwill gesture for the inconvenience they've caused you, and will continue to cause you until the replacement car arrives?

Is it on your order form (the customer copy) if so and it is listed as extra, then you have done correct thing, reject and let dealer sort it

I am a mobility customer so they had to re-order the car, lease been extended on my 2015 superb in the meantime car now sitting at 61500miles

Orders seem to be moving as new delivery date is end of march beginning of April.

As most of you know if you have ACC on your car and use it you would really miss it if it was not there.

Car was ordered in October so was really looking forward to it but not prepared to compromise on this feature .

Garage has offered me lifeshine for free in a gesture of goodwill,to be fair to them they have always treated me well when I get my car serviced .

Lifeshine for ACC is no deal in my personal opinion. Specially when applied by a dealership and not a detailer. If you ordered ACC and they missed rejecting was exactly the way to go.

That sounds pretty annoying. Can they really not retrofit ACC? I thought people on here had mentioned theyd had a conversion done

Lifeshine....It's £10 for a kit on eBay and they'll pay some muppet £5 to apply it.

I think you should be asking for a little more than that.  After all the dealer will be making enough money out of your rejected car.
