Just had an email from the dealer I got my 245 from to say my service is due.

 

I have only done about 6000 miles, is this just a default thing they do or would they do this after a certain amount of months etc.

 

I have not checked what the car thinks yet (btw where is it I check this?)

 

 

 

If you bought it new they shouldn't contact you until you reach 18,500 miles or 2 years have elapsed as your car left the factory (as did mine) with Long Life Castrol Edge oil. If you go into the main settings section on the central screen and scroll down to serviicing the car should tell you how many days or miles to it's first service.

Yeah i got it last May new, ill check later what the car says.

 

Prob just a way of drumming up business plus theres no way id use them as they are in lincoln and im in southampton :-)
