Rear legroom

Featured Replies

As Bengie has said, height and seat position are not proportional. My Dad is 6'3, and can't get in any car with a factory sunroof. Long torso, relatively short legs. Therefore, sitting behind him in a car isn't a problem.

My 6'4 mate on the other hand, is long legged, and you really wouldnt want to ride behind his seat at all.

The leather electric chairs don't seem to have the same amount of adjustment as the bog-standard ones. Something to do with the motors being underneath, I find that most of the cars I have owned (Peugeot 605, Vectra Gsi and Daimler Sovereign) in which I have had the electric seats specified, they just don't go low enough.

The exception was (and don't laugh, you 'orrible lot!) a Daewoo Leganza which had just about the best seats I've ever had in a car!

Well, we're geting leather electric thrones (hopefully next week), but we seem to be unusual in liking our sit-upons set quite high - perhaps because our other car is a Smart - truly regal motoring for two.

Big problem with the current Octy 1 is that with the seat up high my right knee fouls the ignition key. I've played about with the new one and it seems OK - hope so in the (10-year) long term!
