Hello all. 

 

My name is Martin and I am about to buy an Octavia (I hope)!

 

I live in The Netherlands, I am a student mechanic and have been lurking on this forum for a while now on account of all the brilliant information available here. 

 

I drive a Mk4 Golf 1.6 right now, but since that is on its last legs I am looking to purchase a 2004 Octy 1.8t 4x4. I like the 4x4 aspect mostly because you don't see them to often here, especially the hatchback, and I think it will help put the power down. 

 

I have some plans for the car, but I will start a project topic to share those when I actually get it. Should be saturday.
