Lowering

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 1.6 TDI Elegance, i'm wanting to lower my car be either 30mm or 40mm, my car is on 17" 7.5J rims with 205/40/17 tyres. I'm wondering whether the camber in the front and back will change out of spec and make unnecessary wear. Also, for my wheel choice already is it better to go for a 30mm drop or 40mm??

Thanks

After changing any suspension part it's best practice to get the wheel alignment checked and reset. With 17's you should be fine with either 30 or 40mm.

Thank you, helped out a lot

Should be fine mines lowered 40mm and gets tracked and never noticed wear issues
