Amundsen, POIs & POI Base

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me with this odd one.

I have:

POI Base installed with the necessary upgrade to give me 30 POI categories and 30k POIs.

I also have a PocketGPS Subscription, so I use that database,

I have a 32GB USB stick formatted to FAT32.

I have got POI Base to put them on the memory stick, yet my new Amundsen says there's an error and won't recognise it or the POIs on the USB stick, I've told POI Base that the system I'm using is a VW/Skoda/Seat system, NOT RS510, but Amundsen/Discover Media/Pro.

No joy at all...

Some members have found difficulty putting on speed cameras using USB but none with same files via SD. May be worth a try?

I'll try that way and see what happens. A bit odd if that's the case.

Tried what you said and used an SD card and after much pondering it found the POis and installed them. Very happy indeed.

Thanks very much.
