Hi all.

 

Just joined this morning!!   We have a 53 plate Octavia VRS which was our main car for years (we love it), unfortunately the electrics horrendously died on us at the back end of last year so we took it off the road for the winter.  We are now looking to get it back on the road for the spring, providing it can be fixed.... It really is the favourite car we have ever owned.

Well, not quite, but I drove through Catterick this morning on the way back from Tunstall.

Well, a post in the Mk1 Octavia section detailing the issues would be a good place to start.

 

Personally, I doubt I'll be able to help qas I'm not up on the Mk1, but someone will have a clue I'm sure.

That's my next job, just searching through the forum first in case the problem has already been posted etc
