POWEEEEEER......

Have just received fabia estate 1.9 non turbo.....how can get more power??....engine swap?? Install turbo??....

I would imagine the mounts would be similar to a 1.9tdi PD lump.  Probably a lot of work or parts required to make it work though.  Easier to swap the whole car out unless you are particularly attached?

assuming your engine is:

1.9 SDI 8V   I4 ASY 1896 cc

47 kW (64 PS; 63 hp)  honestly what's the point and if you start bolting on turbos without updating the engine internals / components your just going to blow it up. leave it or get a new car

NOS till it blows up :)

Sell it and put the money you would have spent on upgrades with the money from the sale an buy something faster.

Chipping/ECU remapping will set you back a few hundred quid and will only gain you (at a guess) 10bhp or so increase, going beyond that you're just throwing money at it for a few more BHP, plus then having to declare the mods on your insurance.

Unfortunately NA petrol engines don't respond well to tuning unless you have LOTS of money you're prepared to throw at it.
