2015 1.2 TSI 110 engine warning light on.

Featured Replies

P0140/141 refers to the probe fitted after the CAT I think.

Unplug/replug the sensor checking the wiring/connector at the same time for damage.

Rerun diagnostic and clear the error.

If it comes back then maybe you need sensor replacing.

(This fault has nothing to do with your service regime btw)

Cheers xman, is it easy to get to, I'm confident enough to replace it myself if needed.

Is it underneath behind the CAT or is it in the engine bay side.

That I don't know, maybe someone else can advise, otherwise some crawling under the car may be involved.

Wiring may be damaged, ripped etc, also check for exhaust leaks as a leak prior to the sensor can also give this fault.

Remember to try erasing codes. Last week DIL's Zafira had an O2 sensor fault pre-cat. Unplugged/replugged connector (which looked fine) and reset code. Hasn't come back since so in her case it must have been a transient problem, obviously not self resetting.

Good luck!!! And take great care if crawling under the car with proper safe stands in place, not just a jack.

May be easier to get a sensor and ask an exhaust centre to change it (after checking for leaks)

Thanks again xman.

I'll be putting my car back in my garage shortly so I'll reset the code as the reader is still plugged in and check if it comes back on tomorrow.

If it returns then I'll have a scratch around at the weekend and have a look at it to see if there's any obvious signs then maybe get a replacement ordered.

I knew someone on here would have an idea and everything tallies up with what I've been able to find out online, just haven't been able to find a Mk3 Fabia pic/video of the part or it's location.
