Cornering activation with turning signals

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

My car is a Octavia Scout from 2010 (as an Octavia II FL) with halogen bulbs, rain sensor, maxidot, clima and nothing special.

I have activated the cornering function(Byte-14 bit-7 and Byte-17 bit-0) on the following module, but the cornering only works when turning the steering wheel and not when activating the turning signals.

Has anyone the same module and can tell me how to set up correctly or send me his configuration?

Millions of thanks as this is driving me crazy

That's an ancient VCDS version...

You should update to the latest VCDS version (18.9.1) then post a full autoscan to show how your car is configured.

The cable and the software was from

friend.

I’m a lititle bit new on this.

Maybe do in it like in the next link(which I haven’t tried) is more direct

than doing it by Long Coding.

Then you should tell your friend that he should update his VCDS software as that version is 7 YEARS old - if he has a genuine VCDS cable then software updates are free for life.

Having said that - VCDS software that old is often (usually?) a sign that what he has is a clone cable (which uses hacked software) and not a genuine one

OP is Original Poster
