Hi first post here.

I do not have any load cover latches in the boot of my Superb estate so the retractable cover has nothing to hold it shut. The car is an ex police car and I'm pretty sure some internals have been removed so I cannot fit some new latches.

I have tried to take photos to help.

There are no latches, just the side runners, so unless the boot trim has been removed it should hold closed.

 

You can see the runners (slots) right at the top right hand side of this image...

 

 

You can see there is a recess at the end and also the halfway point, this is where the loadcover can be held in either the half closed or fully closed positions.
