Haynes Manual

Featured Replies

Anyone got a book on Skoda Octavia vrs 2.0tfsi 2006 I wana pull the engine apart but need a guide:)

You can access the official workshop manuals from Erwin.

You have to pay for access but if you use a print to PDF function, you can keep a copy you later use :-)

Thank you , Is Erwin the same as Elsawin , I know elsawin are sold on eBay for 7.99 -34.00 but is it anygod :/

And how much is it?

Erwin is the replacement for Elsawin.

I think Elsawin was last updated in about 2013 for Skoda so as your car is earlier, it should be fine. As it's unlikely the documents will have changed recently.

Obviously it's pirated software so the quality may vary and it could include viruses or missing data...

Erwin is about £7 for an hour's access if I recall. Can't remember how long a day is but assuming you've got decent internet, you can probably get most of what you need in an hour.

Thank you , it’s gna take me about 2weeks to fix my car lol I’ve got a 2006 so it may be worth trying to download the elsawin for now

Just out of interest what is wrong with the engine?.

Car has intermittent starting problem The had 13codes and all modules failed I changed the relay 644 (comm to ecu) and then the car started :) thought I’d fixed the problem but the other day I went to it and it didn’t start had 3fault codes come up car

The Haynes manual for the Golf Mk5 will cover your engine, as it was identical to the Golf Mk5 GTI.  The Haynes reference number is 4610.  HTH.

Thank you
