LED Headlights Retrofit

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an octavia scout my18 with a lot of equipment but the importer in Chile (South America) brought them only with halogen headlights. I'm trying to install the led headlights, but apparently it's not a simple job. install a new can getaway (high), a multifunction module (J745) and the wiring for the new headlights, the new can network for the headlights and the level sensor on the rear axle.

to make the wiring for the led headlights I used the original diagrams from erwin. I had to add some cables to the bcm connectors that were originally empty, it was also necessary to change some cables from one pin to another. when trying to code, a lot of communication errors appear, the scanner recognizes the multifunction module, but does not recognize the led lights. if I enter the multifunction module, I can detect the led lights.

Some users will have an Octavia Scout 2.0 TDI with LED headlights and without DCC suspension. with the admap of certain modules I think I'll be able to code my car so that the headlights work.

sorry for the length of the thread, but I've already tried with all the Russian pages that are dedicated to this and have not wanted to help.

best regards

Hi,

What did you finally do with the coding?

Are the led headlights working?
