Condensation in headlight lenses

Featured Replies

Came back from a drive this afternoon and noticed small amount of condensation in the headlights. Is this normal ?

Halogen, Xenon or LED?

its not unusual to find some condensation. Halogen Run hotter so you may not see it as frequently as with the other types.

If water is sloshing around inside the unit then that’s different thing, other than that I’d not worry.

LED.

Thanks for the reassurance.

I noticed some in my LED after my first night drive.

It was just condensation and it fully cleared - as above, be worried if there is water sloshing around :)

A characteristic of the LED lights on the O3 mine does it.

On a very frosty morning don't forget to give LED lamps a wipe over, otherwise you spend the next 8 miles wondering why the headlights are a bit crap....
