Interesting collaboration between Toyota & Suzuki

Featured Replies

The Japanese auto industry has always seemed to me to be a complex, intertwined one involving associations with sub-brands.

Same as the rest of the motor industry..

Ford/psa selling engines to everyone including bmw mini (old 1.6diesel..)

Fiat selling engines to everybody inc, iirc, toyota for the avensis..

That will be Toyota that was the biggest car manufacturer in the world until early 2015 when taken over by the VW Group,

until September 2015 and the Emissions Scandal broke.

The same time as Suzuki found Billions to buy back their last shares from VW Group overnight.

Toyota lending the readies and the next day the value of Suzuki & Toyota went up and again Toyota was the biggest car manufacturer in the world.

The best affordable / reliable 4x4's are from Toyota and Suzuki, so they know what they are doing and Suzuki have worked with Toyota for decades.
