HI

I have a problem with inner release handle for front drivers door, it is not releasing, just heard a crack last night and door wouldnt open,

what happened was that i had hit the central locking button and locked all doors, and during my journey i came upon scene of an accident and pulled latch bit too hard and seems to have broken.... lucky no one hurt in RTA apart from my pride in me and my octavia does anyone know

(1) if this is attached via wire/ cable to lock

(2) how to actually release the inner moulding/ trim from door so as to investigate as i presume it is on clips but dont want to damage
