I'm gwince, and I hail from West Yorkshire.

 

This week, I took delivery of a 2015 Skoda Yeti Outdoor Elegance in Petrol Blue, and I couldn't be happier! It's a wonderful car, that I hope will last us many years.

 

It's our first Skoda, but not the first VAG. My first car was a Vauxhall Corsa, then I went to a Seat Arosa (which we enjoyed greatly), then to a Vauxhall Vectra estate (seeing a pattern yet?), and we just had 3 years with a Ford Galaxy (VW Sharan/Seat Alhambra by another name). When the gearbox and torque converter started to fail, my wife asked if it was worth investing in a nice car, and the search was on. I've always stayed away from main dealers, but DM Keith in Leeds hooked us up with the Yeti. 3 days on, and I couldn't be happier... I just wish my commute was a little longer!

Anyway, it's nice to find a community who aren't up their own bottoms with unerring opinions of perfection about their favoured brand, so I do hope I'll be able to contribute in time.
