Fitted my BMS pedal tuner box today

Featured Replies

After owning my superb 272 sportline plus for just over a week I've done my first modification, I added a burger Motorsports pedal tuner box I got from bolt-on mods ,

The install was easy, popped open the driver's cubby and removed it, then access to the accelerator pedal wiring plug was easy, pushed up the red clip and pulled the plug up and free, then fed the pedal box wires in and connected the plugs, put the cubby box back in and turned ignition on without starting the engine, I then calibrated the unit by holding the plus and minus buttons until the calibration mode activated, pressed the accelerator pedal through its full range of travel a couple of times until zero pedal input gave a single green led on the guage, and full pedal gave the final red led at the opposite side, then held the mode button to exit calibration,

The box has 4 modes

White led is pedal box off

Green led is eco mode

Orange is sport mode

Red is race mode

Each mode can be fine tuned either up or down with the plus and minus buttons, and so far I like the feel of sport mode with 3 minus for my style of driving,

The box has completely eliminated the dead area at the beginning of the pedal travel and I'm very pleased with the mod, so far no negative things to say about it, it was easy to fit and does it's job well, and it'll be a good match for my next mod, a burger Motorsport jb4 tuning box which is already on my insurance policy
