Advice on remap and DSG remap

Hi guys..I'm new to Skodas and I've just bought Octavia vrs combi 184bhp..I'm looking for advice on a remap? Has anyone got it done? Is it worth it? Any negitaves to having it done?. All advice welcome..cheers Chippy

Yes remap is def worth it. I used torquetronix in kells and it has totally transformed my vrs diesel. Can't say much a out dsg as I have a manual.

Chippy there are a few in ireland, one fella on facebook called Mr detail in cashel Co Tip is a dealer for celtic tuning, looking at getting mine done when i switch insurers as most of the insurance co will not underwrite it.

look him up on facebook under Mr Detail.

Also look at JTK tuning they're in wexford

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter o

I recently bought a Skoda 1.5 se l 2024 Reg. I was under the impression that it automatically locks after so many seconds after you have left the car (without having to physically lock it using the key fob). Mine doesn’t seem to do that. So is that feature only available on certain models? Thanks in advance.

Hi.... Just a bit of as heads up.... I got in my Superb 1.4 TSi 2018 (50,000 miles) on Friday night and the engine started making an almighty rattling / clattering / knocking noise. When I took it to a local indy garage the next day they said it sounds exactly like another Skoda they had in the previous week. The one they looked at before wasn't a Superb (can't remember which model they said), but it had done similar relatively low mileage and a bolt was loose at the camshaft p
