Part number needed

Featured Replies

As you can see, the front exhaust hanger is looking past it's best.  I wondered if anyone knew the OEM part number so I can track down a replacement? The car is an 07 petrol vRS.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew.

If your car is a 2.0 FSI I think you're looking for item 9 here.

Item 3 here  some are metal and some are plastic 1k0253144bd  They appear to be AUD40, so GBP20 at most

Sticky Mickey, your item 9 is more towards the rear I think

edit:  I'd be having a good look for a failure in the flex joint as the root cause of the mount falling apart.

Thanks for the replies.  That's given me a good starting point and I'll be able to track one down now.

In retrospect I would have to agree; cheers :)

I'd say item 13, not 3?

Oh, but they're the same part numbers. :D

I'm happy to report that I tracked the part down.  Ebay had it for about £22 but that was in Lithuania.  My local Skoda dealership can get one for tomorrow at a grand total of £18 so all I need to do now is collect and fit it this weekend.

Thanks again for the help on this one.:)

Just a quick update for the archive.

The part ended up being £17 and arrived within a day.  I've put the part number label on there in case other's need it in future.  I'll fit it at the weekend hopefully.
