It's like the hideous silver strips round the lights and grille that Saab have started using on the 9-5 95_ext_7_large.jpg

The ST is available in:

Colorado Red

Diamond White

Panther Black (Metallic)

Moondust Silver (Metallic)

Sea Grey (Metallic)

Performance Blue (Metallic)

Electric-Orange (Metallic)

Which doesn't compare too badly with the Octy 2 vRS:

Corrida Red

Diamond Black (Pearl Effect)

Diamond Silver (Metallic)

Race Blue (Metallic)

Sprint Yellow (coming soon)

:)

Yes, the new Saab does look awful on the road.

Also,neighbour has a VXR

:pants:

Very disappointed

Both children of Carol Vordeman cars.

Have to disagree, both the VXR and the ST look fantastic.

:nol2: :moon:

Alfa 147 GTA is good looking. These two look like a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Astra.Deffo not in the 'stunning' category.

Mind you,I still can't come to terms with a 1 series BMW:D

Emporer's new clothes and all that.

These two look like a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Astra.

:rubchin:

Chris

:D you have to guess the missing word.
These two look like a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Astra.

personally i think there is a very good reason for this or am i missing the point here?

i love the looks of the focus ST and after driving one i would definitly have it over the golf or octavia, neither come close to it in terms of comfort/performance/enjoyment/sound/value in my opinion

and i have driven the new golf gti and i doubt the octavia is much different what with it being the same car and was just so bland in comparison, didn't handleing anywhere near as nice either.

the sound of the focus is the best bit though, brilliant noise it makes :D

the 19.5K focus is the top of the line one, yes it may be a little bit more than the octavia but its better spec'd :)

full leather, xenon's, esp etc etc all as standard :)

just spec'd up a vRSto ST3 spec and it came to

got taken to oulton park on sunday for the touring cars in a mates ST2 , all i can say is brilliant car , hes got the orange one , and hes already put mods on , K+N on the first day of ownership ,then a larger FMIC and exhaust system a couple of weeks ago, the sound from the new system is awesome , handles great too , FORD are actually doing EIBACH lowering springs for it as well .

another ST story , a bloke traded in his MINI COOPER S for an orange FOCUS ST , he comes back a couple of days later ,doesn't want it any more , whats the reason i hear you ask , because when the car is in the garage at home he can't get his lawn mower out , and can't be bothered every time he cuts the grass to drive car out of the garage to retreive the mower , so hes gone back to BMW to buy another COOPER S , DOH :D

ford have been doing eibach kits for their cars for years :)

brother has a set on his 99 focus zetec.

Ive seen a orange ST on the motorways that has below the word focus on the back as the word ASBO in the same style of lettering.

Did make me laugh!

ford have been doing eibach kits for their cars for years :)

Although I notice on the "build your own car" section of their site, the Eibachs are only available for the non-sporty models....

Chris

thats because they already have them as standard :)

although the springs for my brothers zetec did drop it about 20mm and also have a very positive affect on ride quality and handling

the car now has a softer ride for the first litle bit so copes with little bumps better but is firmer when pushed so also corners better, brilliant :)

thats because they already have them as standard :)

Then how do Ford offer an Eibach lowering kit for it? ;)

Chris

the EIBACH springs for the focus st ,iirc lower it a bit more , sorry cant remember the figures , i think FORD actually do 2 different sets of springs for it
