No reversing light

Hi 02 plate Octavia has no reversing lights we have changed the reversing fuse still not working. Any ideas would be great full thank you

Check the wiring at the connection to the reverse switch on the gearbox. 

Will need to take the splash guard off to see it. Cable may have frayed away, or the switch might dead.

Gone trhough this, a new reverse sensor fixed this. Its very cheap part.
