VRS and 4x4

Featured Replies

Are all Mk3 VRS's 4wd?

I see some advertised as such, but usually it's not mentioned...

Cheers

No that would tread all over the Audi and VW marketing/models, so they are very much FWD only.

Thought the 184 diesel was 4x4.

I was referring to the Petrol but forgot to include that overlooking the option on the diesels.. the direct competitor models the S3 and Golf R do not have diesel options! ;)

There aren't loads of 4x4 vRS's about.

I have a 2016 TDI vRS 4x4. They were available in pre facelift for less than a year I think, they were discontinued later in 2016 and then the facelift arrived. Pretty sure you can still order a new 4x4 vRS, but obviously diesel only.

There is a 190ps petrol 4x4 now available but not in vRS spec, also the Scouts are all 4x4.
